In July 2025, twelve students from Baysgarth School embarked on a three-week expedition to Borneo. Among them were Lucy Milnes and Sophie Cleghorn, each supported in part by a £250 grant from the Gander.
Occasionally, we run out of room in The Gander, so when it came to the Winter 2025 Edition, fighting to get both Lucy and Sophies incredible photos onto a colour page, not all of their story was shared... but we can't run out of space on our shiny new website though. It is with thanks to Lucy and Sophie for sharing their amazing Borneo adventure with the Gander, we are delighted to publish their full stories.
